Was just doing the Festival quests and decided to bring my minipet Jungle Troll out for some air and he rawred!!!

I wasnt expecting it, and it scared the hell out of me, but he did!!

they were gone? when? mind you i haven't been playing for a while, but i seem to recall my kuunavang roaring all the time i had him out?

they removed the sound in an udate right after making them showable in towns.

Way to mess things up A-Net.

Now still nobody can hear them except in areas where it can actually be a distraction and cause problems. The one area where they should be making a noise is the one area where they cannot.

*Sighs*

But everyone else seems happy with it this way. I can't imagine why... but I guess you all have your reasons.

i guess it was the fact that everone complained about 20 minipets making noise in outposts was getting annoying

i for one [as do alot fo ppl] like to hear the minipets while exploring and question with heros and hench.

as for ppl in pug's... it doesnt take much to ask the person nicely to put away their minipet if it is getting annoying...

this is how it was before the huge screw up, now it's fixed

I like hearing my Kuunavang roaring o.o And then the once a blue moon hear my Kirin "bark" or whatever sound they make.

And yes it makes a sound o_o The only game sounds I have while playing the game is the sound effects and there were no monsters around and it made sound >.> It's just very very rare o.o

Now if only the Siege Turtle made a pop sound with it's cannon...

And quicker than expected too (although they probably just had to undo what was done, and take away the noise from outposts )

I'm content with the mini-pets the way they are now. It got kind of annoying hearing nothing but wing flapping from all the afk people with Kuunavangs in Grotto.
